Jaya Khosla

Founder and Director

Jaya has more than 28 years of teaching experience in schools in Australia, New Zealand and India. Her expertise lies in teaching Chemistry to College students; also teaching Maths and Science to Australian public high schools in ACT, Queensland and Victoria. She taught Chemistry to grade 11 and 12 students in India for 16 years years as a school lecturer. She received her Bachelor of Science (Maths, Chemistry and Biology), Master of Science (Chemistry), Bachelor of Education, Master of Education and Post Graduate Diploma in Computing.
Currently she is a registered teacher in Australia and the director of Newton Classes.

Nick (Nitin) Newton

Honorary Faculty

Nick has more than 32 years of teaching experience in which he taught Information Technology subjects at a University as an Asst. Professor for about 15 years. In addition, he taught advanced Maths and Physics to high-school and college students as a tutor for about 17 years. His expertise is in Artificial Intelligence (neural nets), Discrete Mathematics, Fuzzy Logic, Algorithm Design and modern college Physics. He acquired Master of Philosophy (Artificial Intelligence), Master of Engineering (Computer Technology) and Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) degrees. Also, he is a Certified Quality Test Engineer, Certified Project Manager and a Quality Lead Assessor. He has written three books in computers and several technical papers. During last 16 years, he worked in private and public services in New Zealand and Australia as a Senior Consultant in Software Quality.
He is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning and Decision Making.

Dr Murali Reddy

Consulting Psychiatrist

Murali is a doctor, an Australian-based health professional with MBBS, DPM, DNB (Psychiatry) and FRANZCP. As a trained Psychiatrist, he owns “North Lyneham Professional Centre” located in Lyneham, Canberra. He is also a consulting Specialist Psychiatrist with ACT-Health and Calvary Bruce Private Hospital in Canberra. He worked as Honorary Senior Lecturer with Medical Schools of Monash University and Australian National University. He specialises in stress and anxiety management.
He is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Decision Making and Situational Judgement.

Dr Sreenath Anavatti, PhD

University Faculty - UNSW

Sreenath is a senior faculty at University of New South Wales, ADFA Campus, Canberra. Earlier he worked as an Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He specialises in Application of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network for Aerospace Applications, Control of Flexible Spacecraft and Robotic Arms, Design and Analysis of Robust Autopilots for Aircraft and Missiles. He has written more than 200 papers in conferences and journals.
He is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Verbal Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning and Decision Making.

Krishne Thayaparan

Medicine Student - UNSW

Krishne is currently studying Medicine at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. She achieved a UMAT score of 95. She participated in the National Physics Olympiads and represented Australia in the Asian Physics Olympiad. She attended Newton Classes for Physics, and Double Specialist Maths for two years, and scored an ATAR of 99.90.
She is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Decision Making, Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement.

Sarat Menon

Medicine Student - University of Newcastle

Sarat is currently studying Medicine at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales. He got above 90s in UMAT while scoring exceptionally high in the logical reasoning and non-verbal reasoning section related to patterns and sequencing. He attended Newton Classes for Chemistry, Physics, Specialist Methods and Specialist Mathematics for two years and scored an ATAR of 99.25.
He is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Decision Making and Abstract Reasoning.

Vinay Goel

Medicine Student - Monash University

Vinay is studying in his 3rd Year of Medicine at Monash University, Melbourne. He was the recipient of the Year 1 Faculty Prize in 2017 as the top medical student in Monash University and got the Monash University Scholarship for outstanding achievement. He has completed the Duke of Edinburgh bronze level and loves playing cricket in his spare time. He was Dux of Narrabundah College in 2016 with an ATAR of 99.90 and the top scorer in UMAT with a 100th percentile.
He is an honorary faculty for UCAT at Newton Classes on Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Abstract Reasoning, and Situational Judgement.
