University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based test used by the consortium of ANZ Universities for admissions to their medical, dental and clinical degree programs. The UCAT test does not contain any specific curriculum or science or maths content. The focus is on exploring the cognitive powers of students and other attributes considered to be valuable for health care professionals.

The universities of UCAT ANZ Consortium in Australia and New Zealand, select applicants with the most appropriate mental abilities, attitudes and professional behaviors required for new doctors and dentists to be successful in their clinical careers by considering the results of UCAT.
